About the Event
In a world where it often feels like bad news and negativity reign supreme, it can be difficult to remember the little things that make life so brilliant. That’s where “Every Brilliant Thing” comes in, a touching and hilarious production by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe. Presented through a special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, this play tells the story of a child who creates a list of all the best things in the world to lift their mother out of a deep depression. From ice cream to water fights, the list grows longer and longer, becoming a celebration of the small joys in life. Parents should note that there are some adult themes in the play, but overall it’s a heartwarming reminder to pay attention to life’s smallest pleasures and to cherish the resilience of the human spirit. Don’t miss this unforgettable coming-of-age journey when it comes to town on Sat Mar 9 - Sun April 14, 2024. Tickets are $25-$35.
