Exclusive: Behind the Scenes of "Farmer Wants a Wife" at Middleburg Barn!
When Loudoun residents tune into the finale of “Farmer Wants a Wife,” they might spot some familiar sights. This special episode, which reunites the farmers and contestants, was shot at the stunning Middleburg Barn at Fox Chase Farm in Middleburg.
“Farmer Wants a Wife” is a reality series that follows four farmers from different parts of the country as they search for true love.
Maureen Hanley, co-owner of the Middleburg Barn—a popular venue for weddings and events—shared that the filming took place in December, just before Christmas, and spanned about 10 to 12 days.
David Tibballs, the show’s executive producer, chose the Middleburg Barn for its picturesque rural setting. “We wanted an authentic barn location fitting for our show, which celebrates farming and the American heartland,” he explained.
He praised the barn as a “stunning location with gorgeous exteriors perfect for cast interviews and majestic aerial drone shots.”
The venue also provided essential amenities, including a dressing room for Jennifer Nettles, the reunion’s host, and ample space for catering, crew staging areas, and a director’s control room.
“We were fortunate to be welcomed by such generous owners and their team,” Tibballs continued. “Their support helped us capture a wonderful reunion episode, bringing our season to a fantastic close.”
Hanley, who has a background in television production, appreciated the professionalism of the crew. “They transformed the barn into an amazing set,” she said.
The finale aired on May 16 and is available for free streaming on Tubi at tubitv.com. Don't miss out on this memorable conclusion to a heartwarming season!
