Paebaek is a traditional Korean wedding ceremony whereby the bride is formally welcomed into the groom's family. In preparation for Paebaek there is special attire that is worn and a colorful ceremonial set up.

 

Pick the hanbok (dress) that you like and take as many pictures as you wish with the embroidered crane panel in the background. Cranes are thought to mate for life-and to live 1,000 years-making them a powerful symbol of fidelity.

 

• The female setup includes the attire, shoes, head accesories and cheek sticker.

• The male setup includes the attire, shoes and headpiece( hat).

• This 30minute photo session will give you a glimpse of a day as a Korean bride and groom.

• Solo visit is welcome.

Cerrome Russell (Headliner)-Cerrome Hails from Sumter County, Georgia and got his comedy start many years ago while serving in the United States Marine Corps. He's since traveled the world, appeared on TV and brings his comedy stylings to you regularly in the DMV area. Cerome is a regular the DC Improv, and has won the Comedy Kumite on several occasions!!!

 

Dewayne White (MC)-Dewayne is a DC-based standup comedian and a combat-wounded Army veteran who served in the Army for 23 years. He has worked alongside amazing comedians like Josh Blue, Sal Vulcano, Mark Normand, Tony Woods and many others. Dewayne was selected as Best of the Fest at the 2022 Plano Comedy festival, was a finalist in 2019’s “Last DC Comic Standing,” 2021’s Magooby’s Joke House Comedian of the Year, and was a semi-finalist in the Last Comix Standing Competition at The Mohegan Sun Casino.

 

Britanny Hunter-Brittany is a DC-based comic and storyteller. Before moving to DC, she grew up Mormon in Provo, Utah in a family with ten kids. Much to her siblings' dismay, she spent most of her childhood forcing them to watch her perform standup and original musical numbers in their living room. Brittany’s dark sense of humor celebrates the choice to laugh in a world with so much to cry about. She whole-heartedly believes that when we laugh we heal, and there is nothing better than being in a room full of people healing together. Brittany has performed with John Cleese in Las Vegas and Dave Smith from the popular Legions of Skanks podcast.

 

Adam Freesman is a staple of the Baltimore comedy scene. He was a finalist in 2021's comedian of the year contest at Magooby's Joke House, and continues to wow audiences with his hilarious take on the world (and his hair).

 

Tre Solo-A newcomer to the DC scene, Tre came up in the comedy scene of Atlanta. He's worked some of the biggest names in comedy, and will have you laughing from the moment he takes the stage.

 

Zak Haines-Originally from upstate NY, Zakary has been working the DC scene for the past year. He's performed on the Best New Comics showcase and adds a hint of charm to his storytelling and observational comedy to serve up some amazing laughs!!!

Join us for this cake decorating class where you will learn to cover a cake with fondant and turn it into a beautiful Geode Cake.

 

Steph Lawshe from Sweet Little Morsels, LLC will show you how to transform a regular cake into a stunning geode cake by covering it in fondant in this lesson. Steph will go over fondant marbling, cake cutting, coating fondant with gold luster, and sprinkling your cakes with gold leaf. Along with advice and simple solutions, she will assist you in troubleshooting typical problems that arise when fondant is used to cover a cake. Beginners and experienced bakers who wish to learn a new cake design and still struggle with working with fondant should take this class.

 

Please take note that making or using gumpaste flowers will not be covered in this lesson.

 

Students will receive fondant as well as an actual cake to decorate and take home after the lesson. There will also be a box for the cake to be transported home in.

 

For usage just during the session, all materials and tools required to cover your cake will be provided. On the day of the session, students will get a 5% discount off of all purchases at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies.
