Stouts and Snouts Indoor Dog Park and Bar Coming to NOVA This Summer!

A new indoor dog park and bar is set to open in Arlington this summer, giving dog owners a place to socialize and enjoy a cold one with their furry friend.

Are you seeking a new place to hang out with your pet? When Snouts and Stouts, a new indoor dog park and bar, opens in Arlington in August 2023, you and your dog will have a place to hang out no matter the weather.

Dogs can play off-leash in the 6,000 square foot indoor area, which is climate controlled, has special K9 turf, and without getting dirty.

Snouts and Stouts is a revolutionary new hybrid venue set to open in Arlington this summer. It's sure to provide an enjoyable outing for both dogs and their owners, thanks to its combination of fenced-in indoor play area and bar. Not only can you enjoy a cold beer while your pup plays with her friends, but you can take comfort in the knowledge that she's safe inside the well-protected premises. The whole family—and even the four-legged family members—is sure to love this unique outing! Snouts and Stouts promises to be an especially fun spot for those pet owners who are looking for a way to relax with their canine companion by their side.

In a recent news release, Daniel Ramos, founder and CEO of Snouts and Stouts, said, "I wanted to develop a space for the community that would allow their dog to play all day, every day of the year, without the stress of the weather or sacrificing their personal comfort."

The Dog Gurus-trained "Dog Patrol" of staff members will keep an eye on and clean up after dogs playing in the indoor park while their owners unwind and sip a beverage.

To start at 2709 S. Shirlington Dog Park, a free off-leash dog park with access to the Four Mile Run stream, is close to Oakland St., Snouts and Stouts. The two parks will complement one another, providing the neighborhood "the best of all worlds" in terms of indoor and outdoor dog recreation opportunities, according to Ramos.

Ramos added, "At Snouts and Stouts, we aim to collaborate with several neighborhood companies to continue to add value to the community rather than take anything away.

Local production brewery New District Brewing Company now resides in the structure, however it will not be renewing its lease. In late spring, Snouts and Stouts will occupy the entire structure and start construction.

On weekdays, day admissions to the indoor dog park will cost $10; on weekends, they will cost $15. Any day of the week, a day pass can have a second dog added for $5. Dog lovers without pets are always welcome to visit and have fun at the bar.

There are now cheaper monthly and yearly subscription options available for pre-purchase. According to the corporate website, Snouts and Stouts members can anticipate receiving discounts of 10% on snacks, drinks, and daycare.

On weekdays, Snouts and Stouts will provide limited-capacity daycare and boarding alternatives. Dogs spent the night will have their own private boarding area with individual kennels.

A temperament test, a minimum weight requirement of 20 pounds, and a minimum age requirement of six months are all safety standards for dogs engaging in daycare and boarding. After the grand opening, owners will be able to make reservations online.

As stated by Ramos, "Snouts and Stouts is keeping the standard for daycare and boarding high so that the dogs in our care will always be safe, be in a sanitary environment, and have a ton of fun. We do this through training from The Dog Gurus and Certification from PACCC (Professional Animal Care Certification Council).

For faster access, all visitors are urged to register their dogs on the website before arriving. There will also be alternatives for Snouts and Stouts to register in person.

For those looking for a good time with their furry friends, the dog park and bar is the perfect place. It's the ideal location to enjoy some fresh air and relaxation, while still allowing you and your pup to mingle with other dogs in a safe and secure environment. So come on down and join in on the fun!
